How do we protect your information?
CrowdSeating takes security very seriously. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you pledge, enter, submit, or access your personal information.
For your financial protection, we integrate with one of the most secure credit card processors in the world. Our financial partner is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of security and certification available.
No credit card data ever is visible or hits CrowdSeating’s servers, and all card numbers are encrypted with Advanced Encryption Standard AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines and none of our partner’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers. All infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn't share any credentials with primary services (API, website, etc.).
Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information
We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your account and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
